So some of you may know already, that Kierra has a tendency to suck her finger. We've been trying all kinds of things to get her to stop. Up until recently, duct tape used to work pretty well. But she's getting smarter and craftier, so duct tape doesn't work anymore.
So we're trying a new approach. If she doesn't suck her finger for the whole day, she can have dessert for dinner. It's been a losing battle all week, but today she finally got off with just a warning.
So Christina caught her during the 'warning', and Kierra tried to pull a 'jedi mind trick', and told Christina, "You didn't SEE me sucking my finger...."
Sorry to those who attend church regularly, but this was just too funny to pass up. While driving around the back-country roads of Texas on our mini 2-day vacation, we saw this church. No kidding, the name is 'That Church'. We even saw another sign in back for 'That Church Office'. I was actually expecting to see a sign that said 'That Church Parking', but we didn't.
Here we are, on a mini 1-day vacation. At the moment, we're in Corsicana, Tx getting a Dr. Pepper float for the kids from an old-style Soda Fountain 'saloon'. After this, we're moving on to the Collin Street Bakery to pick up snacks. Earlier today, we dropped off Lupita at her doctor appt in downtown Dallas. On our way out of town, we stopped by the Dallas Farmers Market to pick up some fruits.
Ok... not really. she's just learning to open the Windows command-prompt, so she can start playing with the keyboard... but still pretty good for just turning 4-years-old.
So adorable. Just think when she can actually start to read and spell...
Apparently, the CDC has a new site, where you can send anonymous e-cards (via email I think). So this one was funny.
