Cassidy asked if I'd pay her $5 if she would shock herself with the electric fly swatter. It has 2 x AA batteries, and a transformer that steps up the voltage to something like 20,000 volts (granted, it's an obscenely low amount of Amps). So it was a little disappointing to see this. Very anti-climactic.
It's scary, it's uncoordinated, but it's all in good fun.
Chloe first said that you shouldn't be able to go on a date until you're 18. Then, when i started video recording, she changed it pretty quickly to 'high school', or maybe when you're 15. You can tell she's trying leave it open and flexible for herself.
...with that sugar? Ok, so it kind of looks like she's a mini-coke dealer, with the way she shovels that sweetener all over one tortilla chip (while eating out dinner).
We decided to walk/ride to their new school's playground (only about 0.7 miles away). We made it their ok (barely), even in 95 F degree. So needless to say, it was QUITE difficult getting the kids home. With Kaleb having a palm-sized blister (from the monkey bars), and kierra 'dying' in the heat... It was 'fun'....
Kierra decided today that she wanted to make a "special recipe" waffles. We convinced her to do something other than waffles, since it was just after dinner-time.
We laid the ground rules:
- Whatever she used she had to put away, and clean up afterwards
- Whatever she made, she needed to at least taste it
- ~1 tbsp butter
- water
- 1 wedge of herb & garlic cream cheese
- chinese hoisin sauce
- 3 blueberries
- 3 chocolate teddy-graham crackers
- dijon mustard
- tartar sauce
- salt
- black pepper
