Well, we kind of knew something like this would be developed, but maybe not this soon.
Basically, this is a cell-phone game, that is based on the Google Android platform. This allows:
- Users to track each other using GPS and the built-in 'radar' in the game. Each user will broadcast their GPS location.
- Other users can then 'track' the other players using their GPS locations in relation to their own GPS location
- When a player finds a 'target' (another player), they take a picture, and facial recognition scores a 'hit' for your account
This reminds me almost like a REAL-WORLD version of Quake capture-the-flag games we used to play back in college.... oh man, too much fun... And you can upgrade weapons, armor, etc (for a cost)... otherwise the game is free.
